II. Organizational Context and Scope |
||
The Western Hemisphere Regional Migration Program, financed by the Bureau for Population, Refugees and Migration (PRM) of the Department of State of the United States, seeks to advocate for the adoption by governments (Belize, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Honduras, Haiti, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama and the Caribbean) and its associates of civil society, of well-managed, regular forms of migration that concurrently reduce flows of irregular migration and vulnerabilities of migrants in transit, while countering the efforts of human traffickers and migrant smugglers. The objective of the Finance and Administrative Assistant is to contribute to the regular basis of the implementation of the Western Hemisphere Program activities in Belize. The activities will be implemented under the vision, principles and objectives set out in the IOM Framework. Under the overall supervision of the Head of Office and the direct supervision of the Project Coordinator, the Finance and Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the following duties: |
